How these guides work

Know the basis of a comparison.

Each guide is an evaluation guide. It explains what to check, describes two sets of buying priorities as profiles of needs, and gives you a blank shortlist table to fill in yourself. No product has been selected, tested or ranked, and no guide names a brand, a price or a store yet.

Reader fit first

Each guide starts with the task you want to do and includes a free or no-purchase alternative.

Sources and limits

Guides describe benefits, drawbacks and what is still unknown, with public sources linked.

Clear relationships

No affiliate partnership is in place. If one is added, links will be labeled where they appear.

The guides do not cover supplements or products that promise health results. If you are curious about supplements, read what NCCIH and the FDA say, and talk with your care team before trying any.

Try a free first step.

You may not need to buy anything. A plain notebook, or measuring tools you already own, may be enough for your practice.
